Blake Morgan has appointed two Cardiff-based partners to lead its Construction and Corporate business groups across the UK.
Joanna Rees and James Williams will take responsibility for teams comprising a combined 59 lawyers, with the appointments reflecting the strength of the firm’s Wales practice and the experience of its Cardiff-based professionals.
Jo Rees has been appointed Business Group Head for Construction, succeeding Richard Wade after his 12 years leading the team.
Blake Morgan’s Construction team comprises 22 lawyers across the firm, including six based in Wales.
James Williams becomes Business Group Head for Corporate, taking over from Simon Staples. Simon led the group while also serving as an Elected Member of the firm’s Board.
The Corporate team includes 37 lawyers across Blake Morgan, nine of whom are based in Wales.
