Amtivo, a global provider of certification and business assurance services, has appointed Richard Stabbins as UK Managing Director, strengthening its leadership in one of the Group’s key markets.

Richard brings more than 20 years of experience across sectors and has an extensive background in operations, business development, customer service and organisational transformation.

Throughout his career, Richard has led complex operations, brought teams together through periods of change, launched new products, and driven business growth, all with a consistent focus on client experience. Earlier roles include over 5 years in leadership at Citation, British Airways and Capita, as well as Managing Director for UK and Ireland at Hogg Robinson Group through its integration into American Express Global Business Travel.

As Amtivo’s UK Managing Director, Richard will lead the UK operations, working with teams across the business to strengthen operational performance, support sustainable growth, and continue delivering a high-quality experience for clients.

His appointment also comes at an important time for Amtivo’s UK business. In 2027, British Assessment Bureau, part of Amtivo Group, will adopt the Amtivo name, bringing the UK business under the Group’s global brand. Richard will play a key role in leading the business through this next chapter, ensuring the strength, expertise and client relationships built by the UK team continue as part of Amtivo.

Richard’s appointment follows the recent appointments of Jennifer Hegarty as Ireland General Manager and Group Chief of Staff, and Randy Daugharty as President of Amtivo’s North American operations. Together, the appointments reflect Amtivo’s continued focus on strong leadership within its individual markets, backed by the expertise, capabilities and resources of a global Group.

Caroline Plumb, Chief Executive Officer at Amtivo, said:

“Richard has extensive operational and leadership experience, alongside a real focus on the critical factors that make a difference for clients and teams.

“He has an exceptional track record of uniting teams, delivering new services, and driving growth while keeping client service at the heart of operations.

“We have built fantastic momentum across our UK business, and I’m delighted to welcome Richard to Amtivo as we continue to accelerate on that.”

Richard Stabbins, said: “I’m delighted to be joining Amtivo at such an exciting point in its journey. There are already strong foundations across the business, and I’m looking forward to working collectively with teams across the UK to build on that, tackle the challenges ahead and make the most of the opportunities in front of us.

“For me, that means keeping a clear focus on our people and our clients, while continuing to strengthen how we operate and supporting the next stage of Amtivo’s growth.”
