The UK’s largest independent boutique bowling venue is expanding into Cardiff with the opening of a new city centre location.

Lane7 will take over the former Par 59 site on St Mary Street, adding a new competitive socialising venue to Cardiff’s leisure and nightlife economy.

The venue will officially open on Friday 18 September, with bookings now available.

Lane7 Cardiff will feature six immersive bowling lanes, supported by the company’s signature branding and premium service.

The site will also offer Tech Shuffleboard, Big Putts Golf, Private Karaoke Rooms, Beer Pong & Pool and Interactive Darts within a single venue.

Screens positioned around the venue will show major sporting events throughout the year, helping Lane7 appeal to customers seeking post-work social activities, date-night experiences and late-night weekend entertainment.

Its food and drink offer will include cocktails and a menu designed for sharing, complementing the venue’s mix of bowling, gaming and live sport.

Gavin Hughes, Managing Director at Lane7, said: “It’s no secret that we’ve been itching to bring Lane7 to Cardiff for some time, and we’re thrilled to have found a venue in the heart of the city centre.

Everyone knows Cardiff is one of the UK’s great nights out, and Lane7 is a venue where you can have all your best nights in one. It’s the perfect match. We can’t wait to get the doors open.”

To mark the opening, Lane7 is launching Baller Week, giving groups of up to four people free bowling from 18 to 24 September.

Customers can redeem the offer by adding one game of bowling for up to four guests and entering the code L7CF at checkout.

Bookings can be made now at book.lane7, while updates about the opening will be shared through @lane7_ on social media.
