The Botanist has opened a rooftop winter tipi bar at its Cardiff Central venue on Church Street.
Tipi on the Roof opened on Saturday 24th October with a festive pizza menu, seasonal cocktails, live music and a partnership with elderflower liqueur brand St‑Germain.
It is the first tipi for The Botanist. The concept comes from sister venue The Oast House in Manchester, where its winter Teepee is now in its 14th year, and Cardiff is the first Botanist in the country to have one.
The menu includes a Hot Honey Pig Pizza and a Camembert & Butternut Squash Pizza, along with a festive spritz called Ho Ho Hugo! and a Nutcracker shot.

Kate Lister-Clancy, Sales & Marketing Director, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to bring Tipi magic to Wales with our very first Botanist Tipi. With the rooftop setting, festive pizzas, seasonal cocktails and beautiful decor, we can’t wait to welcome guests up to the roof in Cardiff this Christmas.”
The tipi has more than 70 covers and is open Monday to Wednesday from 5pm, and from 11am until late Thursday to Sunday. Live music will run from Wednesday to Sunday.
The Botanist is operated by New World Trading Company, which has 27 venues.
